We are delighted to announce Oceania’s third Around the World voyage, which will depart from Miami on January 6, 2017 aboard Oceania Insignia. The first 180–day Around the World cruise sailed on January 10, 2015.

Oceania Cruises is world-renowned for offering guests “the finest cuisine at sea.” In 2012 Oceania Cruise Line expanded on that theme with the introduction of their first “O Class” ship, the Marina, with onboard cooking classes and gourmet-themed shore excursions. Starting on 2016 select sailings, a new collection of culinary-focused land packages will be available.

Today Oceania Cruises unveiled the 2014 array of culinary classes for the Bon Appétit Culinary Centers onboard the Marina and Riviera. Over 20 different classes will offered, ranging from regional cuisines to pasta making. Lessons are designed to expand guests' knowledge while incorporating local flavors and highlighting regional cuisines.

A comparison of Oceania Cruises small upper premium class ships and Celebrity Cruises large ships reveal a very different experience.
Is Oceania worth the price?
Many travelers prefer smaller cruise ships that are not as crowded. prefer visiting destinations that the big ships don’t go. Others have preferences for the “ultimate dining experience.” I am not talking about the amount of food available. Do you mind paying extra for specialty restaurants?
